Be as specific as you can about your work and needs.

Start searching for a match right away.

Because book clubs typically meet only once a month, it may take some time before a club is able to discuss and make an adoption decision.

Don't hesitate to email potential matches and find out more about their clubs.

Once you find a match, come back and update your profile to show that you are "taken" so you won't keep getting emails.

Keep your book club informed of your needs. This is a long-term relationship and your club can't get you the books you need if you don't keep them up to date.

If you decide to quit, please email or call your book club, so they can go back to "available" status.
